Oh je, ein Gips!

Als erster von unseren Pänz hat es Lasse geschafft, einen Gips zu bekommen. Wie das so ist, man fährt ja, weil es cooler aussieht, lieber ohne Schützer Inliner. Und zack, eine Ameise übersehen und schon landet man auf dem Allerwertesten. Und um das Ganze etwas abzufangen, stützt man sich mit der Hand ab. Knacks.... Zum Glück ist der Arm nicht ganz durchgebrochen. Man nennt es wohl einen Grünholzbruch. Aber für einen Gips reicht es aus. Zuerst war der Gips nur bis zum Ellenbogen und sollte nach einer Woche wieder runterkommen. Nachdem sich dann aber Lasses Klassenkamerad auf den Arm gesetzt hatte, wurde der Gips bis zur Schulter verlängert und muss nun wenigstens zwei Wochen oder länger dran bleiben.

Lasse ist davon wenig begeistert, zumal auch noch sein Geburtstag in diese Zeit fällt.    

 

Lasse is the first in our family to have a cast. He was inline skating without protectors. Do I need to say anything else? Guess not. He fell and landed on his hand. It is not broken all the way. It is a greenstick fracture. I am surprised, that this word is actually literaly translated from German into English or the other way around. Anyway, the cast was up to his elbow only until his friend in school sat on it. Now it is up to his shoulder and as you can tell, Lasse is not to excited about that fact. It also needs to stay on longer now. The worst is, that his birthday is next week and he is afraid he can´t play around with his guests as he would like to.
